“Linking lexicographic data on the Web”
Abstract:
Electronic language resources can be found over the Web in a variety of formats, representation mechanisms, and access means. Electronic dictionaries are not an exception. Such heterogeneity hinders interoperability among such resources. In this talk, we will review the principles of linked data and their application into linguistic data, as a technological solution to make data coming from different sources more interoperable. We will focus on the Ontolex lemon model to represent ontology lexica, as well as into its lexicography module (Lexicog), and will review some of its applications.
